Melissa Schroeder

Melissa was born and raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. She earned her Bachelor of Arts – Psychology at Saint Mary’s University before obtaining her Juris Doctor at Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law where she spent a semester at the Dal Legal Aid Clinic. She completed her articles in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia and was called to the bar in both Nova Scotia and Manitoba in 2016.
Melissa practiced in downtown Winnipeg from 2016 to 2020 – helping clients with matters including personal injury, estate litigation, employment conflicts, adoptions, professional liability, and contract disputes.
While taking some time away from practice to start a family, she was excited when the opportunity arose to move back home to family, and better weather. Since returning, Melissa refocused her practice on personal injury law. Melissa works hard to make clients feel heard and ensure that they’re treated with compassion and empathy throughout the litigation process.
She is proud to be part of a firm that was named one of the Top 10 personal Injury Law Firms in Canada by Canadian Lawyer Magazine, and she looks forward to contributing to their sterling reputation.
Melissa enjoys spending her spare time with her partner, two young children, Newfoundland dog, and Manitoba mutt.
